Toronto wasn’t on my radar as a food city until recently; looking back, maybe it should have been long ago. I was more drawn to the asian food and the wine bars of Vancouver, and of course the distinctive french leaning cuisine of Montreal—but Toronto has so much to offer. There’s plenty of fine dining to be found there, though for me only a couple of those spots catch my eye. Rather, it’s the proliferation of cuisines one can find in this deeply multicultural city, from a secret sake bar to a tucked away Chinese restaurant to a beloved Thai BBB spot to the countless great Indian options.
